Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and missions of BOPOMOFO CAFE. 

  • Maintains positivity and enthusiasm while promoting a superior experience for both team members and customers.

  • Perpetuates BOPOMOFO CAFE’s core values and mission and develops relationships with shift team members.

  • Routinely cleans the bar and beverage making area, speciality equipment upkeep, register mechanics, dining room operations, and inventory counts.

  • Greets all customers with fast, friendly and personalized service. Going above and beyond for customers’ needs to provide a world class customer service experience.

  • Understanding and constantly being aware of safety and sanitation standards for food handling and applying that knowledge to other junior team members.

  • Enjoy meeting new people everyday and putting a smile on peoples’ faces by making milk tea, coffee and other small bites for our customers to enjoy.

  • Follows BOPOMOFO CAFE’s operational policies and procedures, including those for cash/register handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all team members during each shift.

  • Able to learn and retain recipe and cashier knowledge and maintain a high performance attitude towards all responsibilities and duties.

Summary of Experience 

Customer Service experience in a Food & Beverage Retail environment - 0-1 Year

Required Knowledge & Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to learn quickly

  • Knowledge of “Front of House” General Responsibilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills, Excellent Customer Service 

  • Experienced food and beverage handling and working in a fast-paced & high volume retail environment

  • Must possess an unbiased supervisory skill

  • Effective Communicator
